Introduction
This is the first of a two-part series on Real Estate Law. If you don't know the difference between real estate and property, the bundle of rights, deeds, and warranties, this is the perfect place to start. This introductory course will give you the basics of US real estate law. Or should we say, real property law 🤓

Identify types of Commercial Lease based on the treatment of expenses, including Gross Lease, Modified Gross Lease, Triple Net Lease, and Ground Lease.
Evaluate the differences between 3 types of Equity Deed (including Warranty Deed, Grant Deed, and Quit Claim Deed).
Determine which warranties are required in an Equity Deed and why.
Review a Grant Deed and understand key clauses.
Understand the importance of title insurance.
Evaluate a Deed of Trust and understand the difference with a Mortgage.
